A smoother, smarter Plannerly - this update focuses on clarity, better exports, and fewer tiny frustrations that slow teams down.
We have improved how information requirements behave, cleaned up visuals in timelines and how they are seen in Bluebeam, and added more control to SmartFields and Cover Pages. Below is a simple summary of what has changed and how it helps day-to-day work.

so downloads are easier to filter and report

after Info Tags to support advanced validation workflows
  • Element Tasks now export correctly
on the Details page even when the parent group status is toggled off
Information Requirements made simpler
  • No value is requested when the rule is any number
    - fewer unnecessary clicks
  • Number between rule fixed
by restoring the missing second input
  • Checking behavior corrected

  • Verify optimization error message resolved
    when opening Information Requirements
Cleaner visuals and usability

so Information Requirement values fit neatly in the field width
  • Page Marker text in Bluebeam is now invisible
    for cleaner PDFs
  • Tooltips added
to tracking fields to explain options in context
  • New empty-state message added
    to guide users in SmartFields
SmartFields and Cover Pages
  • System SmartFields can be created instantly
without needing the old create-then-link step
  • Code view added to Cover Pages
    for more flexible formatting
  • Cover Page code view access fixed
Document mode fixes
  • Section Comment panel now opens correctly
when sections are created using the PDF option
  • Toolbar overflow resolved
    in Doc mode
  • Email comment links now scroll
    to the correct section
Thanks for all the feedback that shaped this release.
Many of these improvements came directly from real project frustrations you shared with us. Keep the ideas coming - they help make Plannerly feel a little more like common sense and a little less like software.
