Smarter SmartFields and Reliable Comments

Another round of practical improvements focused on reliability, clearer behavior, and fewer surprises in daily use.

This update strengthens SmartFields, comments, and section activity while fixing a number of edge cases reported by teams working with large scopes and bSDD data.

Stability and performance fixes

Bulk-assigning Information Requirements fixed
for groups with a large number of tasks
Correct bSDD properties now read
instead of returning the wrong attributes
Resource not found error resolved
when deleting a newly created section
Popup behavior fixed
when opening links from email notifications

Smarter SmartFields behavior

SmartFields icon now hidden
when a document is in published mode
SmartField data type moved
to the first column for clearer editing
Changing a SmartField data type no longer wipes values
Date Type SmartField value preserved
after inserting into a document section
Table alignment fixed
inside SmartFields with no left-squish while In Progress or Shared

Comments and activity improvements

Email comments now display text
even when no @mention is included
Number indicator added
on section activity tabs where All equals unresolved plus resolved
Inline comments excluded from versions
and adding a comment no longer creates a new version
Visual styling added
to highlight status changes separately from normal comments
Checklist item updated automatically
when statuses change

UI clean-up

Gray background removed
on status changes and selection prevented
Tooltip cutoff fixed
for folders near the top of the screen
E-signature limit removed
on education accounts to support classroom use
