Unified Permissions Management

A more strategic way to manage people, teams, and permissions across all workspaces and projects from one place.
Proposed approach:
- A new centralized Team Management dashboard to view and control user access across the entire account.
- Simplify adding, removing, or adjusting roles across multiple workspaces and projects.
- Add the ability to copy team structures (members and roles) from one project to another for faster setup.
- Include granular workspace permissions, such as:
- Can create and delete only their own projects
- Can create and delete any projects in the workspace
- Cannot create or delete projects (view/edit only)
This would make permission management faster, clearer, and more scalable across large organizations.

We are currently planning out a new set of Account-level permissions, we would really value your feedback.
I recorded a short walkthrough video explaining what we are proposing and why:
👉 Watch the preview here: https://share.plannerly.com/yAumBk7Z
In short, we are exploring three main improvements:
- Account admins - billing visibility: The ability to explicitly turn billing visibility on or off per admin
So you can separate “platform admins” from “commercial admins”
- Faster member onboarding: Add multiple account members in one go by pasting a list of email addresses
No more adding users one by one
- Centralized permission management: Manage each person’s access across all workspaces and templates from one place
Set permissions per workspace as:
- None - hidden completely
- View - read-only access and usable as templates
- Admin - full workspace control
Bulk update multiple people at once
Remove a user from the entire account (projects and workspaces) in one action
This is all about giving you more control, less admin work, and clearer security boundaries at account level.
We would really appreciate any constructive feedback on:
Whether this solves real problems for your team
Anything that feels confusing, missing, or risky
Any workflows you would want this to support that we have not thought of
You can simply reply to this email with your thoughts - even quick bullet points are perfect.
Thank you in advance - this feedback genuinely shapes what we build next.
